Valin - Automation Controls has been training West Coast Manufacturing, Life Science, Hi- Tech and Defense companies since 1985. Our training programs have been developed based on many years of excellent customer feedback.

We offer a broad range of classes and workshops, ranging from detailed hands-on PLC classes to informative Vision Workshops and Lean Manufacturing Workshops intended for Lean Managers. Each class or workshop is concluded with a customer feedback survey where we take your good ideas and continue improving the classes and sessions.

Our Trainers go through rigorous product and software training certification. In addition they attend Train the Trainer classes, continually improving their instructional skills.

Each of our Controls and Vision trainers are full time Valin - Automation Controls Application Engineers working with our customers on a daily basis. They have an excellent understanding of customer needs, troubleshooting and instructional training methods.

Our Valin - Automation Controls Training Centers are state of the art training facilities. We provide comfortable guest workspaces, seating and full course materials and handouts so our students can easily follow the instructor. Overhead LCD projectors and large viewing screens and white boards allow course materials to be viewed easily by the entire class.

We provide complimentary breakfast and lunches depending on starting time for the classes. A complimentary snack cart allows our students to have a refresher snack at any time... all part of our Training Service.

We utilize hands-on training demos to facilitate quick learning by our students. In addition we provide training software for those courses requiring training software. In many cases product demos and software (link to Omron Training Demo purchase schedule + Robo Expo plan) can be purchased at very deep discounts, allowing our students to leave the training and take the real product and software back to their facilities and use them for actual production needs.
